Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and sitting within the Group Finance function the job of Group Reporting Manager is to support the delivery of high quality, timely, financial information to the main Board and the Group Leadership Team. This includes annual reports, monthly reporting packs and presentations to investors. A key aspect of the role in the coming year is assisting in the transition to a new Global Financial Operating Model which is currently being implemented, in conjunction with the roll-out of a new ERP. The Group Reporting Manager will lead the production of the monthly management accounts pack and preparation of year end and half year financial accounts. You will have responsibility for the ownership and maintenance of the key reporting tools (including Hyperion consolidation system) and ensure the effective delivery of the audit of the Group consolidation and year end and half year accounts. As a technical expert you will provide financial accounting advice to the finance function of the Group and maintain the Group's IFRS 16 database and calculations supporting the transition to this important new accounting standard. The successful candidate will be ACA qualified with sound technical knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP, experience of working in a PLC environment and strong analytical, critical thinking, communication and inter-personal skills.
