Head of Finance Ignata Finance are proud to be exclusively retained by a market-leading retail brand in their search for a Head of Finance. This is an incredibly broad role encompassing both commercial and core/classic finance. The key area of focus in hiring this role is to build a more commercial finance team and provide a true business partnership to the key board members. This brand has grown year on year since 2013 and expects to double sales over the next 3 years making a very healthy profit. How many retailers can say that? The package is paying between £80k - £90k bonus, pension and discounts. There is flexible working in place. The business already has a large share of the market but can grow through new franchises, ecommerce & wholesale. Culturally, it's an incredibly dynamic, entrepreneurial and collaborative team spirit. The role will have full autonomy & responsibility, reporting into the CFO with a team of 5 in Finance. The Role:
• To provide leadership, development, investment and coordination to the finance team.
• To support the business for accelerated growth, giving confidence to the board on the quality of information at their disposal.
• Own the delivery of the monthly management accounts pack and yearly statutory accounts.
• Oversee the preparation of weekly & monthly cashflow forecasts.
• Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts and other reporting and analysis ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.
• Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisors and other relevant parties.
• To ensure that the finance department fulfils all its duties as a service department to the business and Directors. Skills and Experience:
• ACA/CIMA or ACCA Qualified
• Retail/Wholesale sector knowledge & working experience.
• Commercial Finance / FP&A background.
• Background working for international companies (ideal but not essential).
• Thorough knowledge of best-practice, implementing a culture of rigor and "best-in-class" finance. Personal Characteristics:
