Our client is a reputable bank based in the city who is looking for an experienced credit analyst with a few years' experience. Please see below for an outline of the role: - Coverage of international Investment Grade and High Yield credits to support the Trading and Sales desks within the fixed Income area - Building and maintaining comprehensive fundamental valuation models and related financial and economic spreadsheets. - Attending meetings and conference calls with management and conducting channel checks, interviews and related investigation to support analysis, modelling and trading ideas. - Accompany sales staff on client visits and business trips. - Attend rating agency conferences. Skills and experienced required: - A few years' experience as a credit analyst on the sell side, with a rating agency, or sell-side with a major bank or securities house. - Degree in finance, economics, or from a mathematical discipline. - Preference for FCA registered or CFA candidate. - Strong analytical skills; good knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and modelling, and IT; industry-relevant knowledge. - Strong communications skills (both written and spoken). - Must be bright, numerate, willing to take responsibility, and be able to shift quickly and easily between tasks.
