Company An established Real Estate Investment Trust with a diversified portfolio in the United Kingdom and Germany is recruiting the position of Senior Management Accountant within their London based finance division reporting up into the Head of Management Accounts. This role will Managr three direct reports and business partner with the asset managers on a day to day basis. Working within a finane team of 15 this role will be the number two within the commercial team and be exposed to the CFO and commercial partners. Role Preparation of management accounts for the following portfolios on a quarterly basis in line with reporting deadlines (Shopping Centers, Retail Parks ,Distribution and Industrial ,Greater London Offices) Review of management accounts for the following smaller portfolios prepared by trainee management accountant on a quarterly basis ? Analysis of variances to budget and reforecast on a quarterly basis with clear commentary explaining the variances. Posting of lease incentives (rent free, capital contribution and stepped rent adjustments). ? Prepare service charge void reconciliations per unit. ? Processing quarterly prepayments and accruals with support from ? Posting bad debt provisions. ? Liaise with internal asset managers and external property managers to understand and explain variances to budget and reforecast in the quarter. Preparation of a Group Management Accounts for Board Reporting on a quarterly basis including analysis of; Preparation of covenant reporting on a quarterly basis for the UK debt facilities in line with lender reporting timelines. Capital Expenditure Reporting Analysis of capital expenditure projects versus budget on a monthly basis for the Group's Executive Directors Balance sheet reconciliations: Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for entities in your portfolio, ensuring documentation is on file to support the specified account balances on a bi-annual basis.
