Graduate Finance Associate / Assistant Accountant This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with an Accountancy / Business related degree to join a growing business where you will be given the chance to study a globally recognised accountancy qualification, with comprehensive training and support available throughout your progression to becoming fully qualified within 2 to 3 years. Luxfer Gas Cylinders are the world's largest manufacturer of high-pressure aluminium and composite gas cylinders for a wide and growing variety of applications - such as life support, alternative fuel, medical, industrial, beverage, fire extinguishers, aerospace, inflation, scuba and performance racing. What will this role of Graduate Finance Associate entail? Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham , as a Graduate Finance Associate, you will support the finance team in maintaining an efficient function, helping to provide relevant management information to assist in areas of business improvement. This is the perfect role for the right candidate to gain valuable experience within a supportive and friendly team. You will be involved in a broad and varied range of finance duties, including accounts payable, stock and costing control, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will also provide support to credit control depending on the needs of the department. You will have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in a methodical and meticulous manner. Able to work effectively under pressure, to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy. You will be an important part of a dedicated team; however, you will also be able to work on your own initiative with good problem solving and analytical skills. What will I receive in return? You'll receive an annual salary of between £19,000 to £22,000 , level dependent on skills, knowledge and experience. What will I need to be considered for this Graduate Finance Associate vacancy? A degree qualification gained within a Finance / Business related subject Desire and motivation to achieve CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualification Flexible approach to work and hours, depending on the needs of the business Although not essential, a foundation of experience working within a similar finance-related role along with experience gained within a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
