I am working with a business who are recognised for their support across the UK and the World, and as the business expands we are seeking an Account Assistant to support an Accounts Receivable and Billing team. The role calls for someone who can plan and prioritise, you will need to be able to provide support across a medium sized finance team, work to strict deadlines and liaise with non- finance heads across the business. Key tasks will include; Maintain customer invoice account details Update new customer details and ensure correct billing information loaded onto the company accounting system Approval of credits Management of accounting data and ensuring accuracy Assistance of external audits Preparation of Direct Debit files The successful candidate will; Have experience in AR or billing previously Knowledge of CODA desirable Strong systems skills including Excel Ability to work to financial deadlines Strong communication skills Confident telephone manner This is a permanent position based on the outskirts of Lincoln, therefore the ability to drive is essential. This is a fulltime role and we ask candidates to be available to support month end deadlines.
