Assistant Management Accountant | Morton in Marsh | up to £28,000 The Company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant within a fast growing and well-established business in Moreton in Marsh, working as part of an experienced Finance team, delivering excellent service to the business, supporting internal and external customers with all things Finance and partnering effectively with the management team to drive business success. The Opportunity Have full ownership of Sales Ledger function including Aged Debtor reconciliation, processing of credit notes and returns, and working closely with our Customer Services Team; Take full ownership of Credit Control function; Perform weekly reconciliation of GBP & EUR bank accounts; Perform weekly reconciliation of Merchant Card Service account; Provide support to the Purchase Ledger function including processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements and processing payment runs; Produce and payment of bi-weekly Commission Runs for our B2C sales; Assist mentoring the Finance Assistant; Assist the Finance Manager with the production, analysis and accounting entries of monthly management accounts; Assist with the maintenance of other General Ledger items; Create and develop ad hoc reports for all field-based teams; Conduct any ad-hoc work as required in the Finance department. Personal profile Essentials AAT Qualified / Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA (some study support provided depending on where you are in your study path) Significant previous experience in a comparable role; Proficient user of Microsoft packages especially Excel; Educated to GCSE level to include Math's & English or equivalent Full driving license Desirables Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP; Experience obtained from a fast-paced FMCG environment.
