My Client, a rapidly growing Tech firm has an excellent opportunity for a Group Financial Accountant to support the development of their group finance function. The business specialises in a variety of online platforms across several businesses. As a Group Financial Accountant, you would be reporting into Financial Director where you will be responsible for the timely delivery of all accounts and the delivery of projects to merge new businesses. Other duties will consist of: Supporting the production of year end consolidated financial reporting Ensuring our audit compliance is completed Producing monthly reporting information and KPIs Liaising with the wider group to prepare analysis for senior management Analysing and interrogating monthly results against budget Preparing monthly and annual group balance sheet reconciliations Understanding in depth, the Group accounting policies and methodology applied under both FRS 102 and IFRS Implementing new accounting standards including IFRS 9 & 16 and communicating this to the business units as well as senior management Liaising with senior management regarding the information required for financial year end and assisting in the production of reporting outputs Successful candidates will be an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with 1-2 years of post-qualified ideally with previous line management experience. Candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with the Board and non-financial individuals alike with strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
