Business Finance Partner - CCAB accountancy qualified /part qualified Based in Surrey, salary £40,000 - £43,000 per annum We are currently a Business Finance Partner for a not for profit organisation based in the Kingston upon Thames area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CCAB qualified or part qualified accountant seeking a supervisory role reporting the Head of Accounts in a progressive organisation. Person Specification: - It is essential that you are a full or part qualified CCAB accountant. Possess excellent IT skills, ability to use Microsoft Office (In particular Excel) packages and demonstrates an ability to learn other software packages Very familiar with accounting or ERP software such as Sage 200 Skilled in implementing and supporting the key elements of an effective, business-focussed financial control environment Strong financial planning and forecasting experience providing practical and strategic advice to management teams Strong analytical skills, the ability to think innovatively and a creative approach to problem solving Excellent communication skills Ability to interact with staff and stakeholders to engender confidence Ability to anticipate issues and make appropriate decisions Supervisory skills / Line management or staff is desirable Understanding of FRS102 and the Housing SORP advantageous Demonstrates customer focus at the core of all activities including high standards of internal customer service Key

It will be focused on improving the impact, and understanding, of financial Information on business performance. Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies Building strong relationships with internal staff so that they can make the most of the financial systems and reports available to them Manage and mentor staff and to support the Head of Accounts with transaction approval activities Manage the production of the monthly Management Accounts and extracting insight from them Lead on the production of the annual budget and 5 year financial plan Undertake analyses or charges to identify trends Internal and external audit involvement
