Our client is a growing business with a healthy track record in their sector. Due to this growth and an internal restructure they are now looking for someone to join their friendly finance team in a great all-round accounting position. The role will work closely with another colleague and report in to the Head of Finance and duties will include; Assisting with the review and control of the sales ledger and purchase ledger and month end close Processing Barclaycard and cash expenses Assisting with creating weekly payments runs in multiple currencies Journals and nominal ledger management Cashflow monitoring and review Assisting with production of monthly management accounts Bank reconciliations Reconciliation of Petty Cash/raising of manual cheques Monthly reconciliation of cashbooks/bank accounts for international operations Trade Facility monitoring and reconciliation Maintaining company vehicle schedule Preparation and submission of various government business surveys Preparation/payment of PAYE and VAT monies Ad hoc duties This role will suit someone who has experience in an all-round accounts position and who is ideally AAT qualified (or equivalent). A keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are essential attributes to the success of this position. Whilst training on the accounts package will be given, strong Excel skills are key.
