Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working alongside a reputable Manufacturing business, based in the Alfreton area as they look to appoint a knowledgeable, ambitious Credit Control Supervisor to join their busy Receivables function, due to business growth As Credit Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for your own caseload of accounts, as well as supporting a busy Credit Control team with regards to KPIs, targets, escalation of queries and their professional development.
• Be proactive on resolved queries and cash collection
• Supporting a busy Credit Control team of 6
• Turn around new accounts in set times
• Report and liaise with sales teams and customer service on a daily basis
• Ensure orders are released or have a valid reason to hold
• Organising own time in the maintenance of the sales ledger to maximize profits of the company and minimize bad debts
• Review customers credit limits
• Reconcile accounts and minimize overdue accounts using various methods to ensure DSO targets are met and exceeded
• Point of contact for escalation of complex queries
• Setting personal KPIs and reviewing performance
• Ensure customer accounts are maintained within their credit limits Person specification:
• At least 2 years worth of Credit Control experience
• Ability to work well in demanding environments
• Excellent communication skills & telephone manner
