The role is a Part time position 3 days a week, 5 hours a day.

A medium sized, progressive business, with offices based in a number of locations, are recruiting for a Part-time Accounts Assistant to join their Accounts team in Weybridge. Free parking provided and easy access via public transport.

Description

The Part time Accounts Assistant role, reports to the Finance Manager, and involves:

• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers

• Assisting with financial and management reports

• Invoicing

• Dealing with company credit cards

• Calculating and checking payments

• Ensuring invoices are posted accurately

• Banking of cheques and cash

• Managing petty cash transactions

• Controlling and chasing debt

• Reconciling accounts

• Checking and processing expenses and reconciling receipts

• Support Senior Staff

• Assisting the Finance Department with any other adhoc duties
• Using Sage Line 50 (but migrating to Xero in the near future)

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Part time Accounts Assistant role will:

• have strong Purchase Ledger and Bank Reconciliation experience
• have strong Administrative skills (as roughly 40% of the role will be Admin / data entry)
• be looking for a varied Accounts role
• ideally have experience using Sage Line 50 and/or Xero
• live locally to Weybridge

Job Offer

The Part-time Accounts Assistant role can pay up to £25-30,000 full time equivalent (circa £15,000 - 18,000 for 3 days per week) + benefits

The role is a Part time position 3 days a week, hours 9am - 5pm (or 8:30-4:30m)
