Accountant

3-month interim Accountant in Basinstoke town centre - circa £180 per day through Ltd company

Partnering a Basingstoke client who is looking for a 3-month interim Accountant to come into the business to assist across the finance team.

Based in the centre of Basingstoke next to the train station this role will be covering all aspects of the company's accountancy function, including AP, AR, Bank reconciliations and taking the accounts to Profit and Loss level.


Main duties;

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
• Maintain and record fixed assets
• Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary
• Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies

The ideal person for the role with have the necessary attributes;

• Qual or Part qual in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years' related experience preferred
• Hands-on experience working with general ledgers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office
• Able to multi-task and prioritise work effectively
