Job description: Core-Asset Consulting's Client a global financial services firm is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. You will be acting as entity controller for several legal entities and be responsible for the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet. This is an initial 12-month maternity cover based in Edinburgh. Core requirements: CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic record Newly qualified or qualified through relevant experience, preferably in Financial Services Strong awareness of global accounting standards Experience in statutory accounts production and/or audit preferred Experience in the production of regulatory reporting preferred Core

responsibilities:
Ensuring that all statutory accounting and regulatory reporting deadlines are met; review of year end statutory accounts including liaison with auditors, tax & regulatory Completion of monthly management and quarterly IFRS reporting packages ensuring that US to IFRS adjustments are appropriate and documented Production of legal entity accounts Providing added value commentary surrounding movements in the P&L and Balance Sheet on a legal entity level Be key point of contact for several legal entities Actively searching for process improvements within the role Job reference: 11904 To apply for this vacancy applicants must be eligible to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
