Assistant Accountant- Glasgow- Salary £28k Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant and feel like it's time for a new challenge within a reputable organisation with a growing team? We are working on a fantastic opportunity for candidates at PQ level to really further their career and gain exposure working within a busy organisation. This position is working within a highly regarded Scottish Professional Services Firm which offer a variety of accounting services to a range of interesting clients. What will the day to day look like? You will be fully responsible for monthly management accounts for a range of different clients Reviewing the work of junior staff Working with technology team to help with reporting Ensure polices and procedures are followed Liaising with other departments to ensure all information is accurate Dealing with ad-hoc queries from clients Providing guidance to clients as needed Are you who we are looking for? You must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification- ICAS, CIMA, ACCA Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Be confident and professional when speaking with clients A background in both practice and industry will be considered Interested in hearing more about this opportunity?
