Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based in Harrogate to join their team on a 6 month contract with the view to go permanent. The successful candidate will be experienced in all round transactional accounts and have the ability to use their own initiative and work well within a team. It is essential that you have bank reconciliations knowledge and have assisted in the preparation of management accounts.

Salary:
£25,000 per annum, dependent on experience Duration: 6 months fixed term contract, possible permanent vacancy after completion Duties:
• Review of nominal ledger transactions
• Preparation of month end journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with Purchase Ledger when required
• VAT returns
