We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Intercompany Accountant to be based from our Head Office in Warrington. This role is for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for a year. The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance teams to manage the Intercompany processes. Ownership of the month end deliverables for FESL accounting and support of regional finance teams in completing month end submissions. Join the finance team and help drive improvements in control, process and culture to achieve our ultimate goal of providing best in class, value added support to our global business. Responsibilities
• Management of the intercompany accounts on both the UK Sales and Purchase ledger.
• Registering all purchase invoices, chasing approvals and payment.
• Chasing debt on the sales ledger.
• Issuing and agreeing Trading statements with all entities that trade with the UK.
• Ledger and Statement Reconciliations to ensure Intercompany Agreement across the Group.
• Preparation of accruals journals to recognise all intercompany balances.
• Provision of information on intercompany balances for inclusion in the monthly management accounts.
• Ownership of the Intercompany matrix and ensuring that all balances eliminate across the group.
• Key support function for all Intercompany queries - managing responses and resolutions.
• Preparation and maintenance of Intercompany balance sheet schedules in line with Risks and Opps reporting deadlines. Key Attributes/Skills
