WDP is a fast-growing vibrant and innovative drug and alcohol charity committed to helping those who are affected by substance misuse. For over 25 years we have provided support to individuals, their families and the wider communities from centres across London, the South East and East of England. WDP believes that by having a strong delivery model, we are able to provide the best possible treatment, whilst advocating on behalf of our service users. We are dedicated to providing an infrastructure that is best able to support our service users in their recovery. To ensure this, we aim to innovate in both service delivery and back office functions. This is why we are being awarded more contracts than ever before, which has given rise to two new roles in our finance team. The Role Reporting to the joint-Chief Executive,the Head of Finance and Resources will work collaboratively with operational colleagues to drive the development of strategic initiatives key to the future growth and longevity of WDP. This Senior Management Team (SMT) post will contribute to the successful management and operational running of WDP through leadership in the areas of finance, procurement and legal resources. The post-holder will apply sound commercial approaches to assist WDP to diversify its business model is a key function of this role. You will be required to lead and develop a high performing, but relatively new, finance team. About You To be considered, you will be a fully qualified accountant (UK recognised), with relevant PQE in all strategic and technical areas of finance. We are not necessarily looking for an established senior leader and enthusiastic about attracting an entrepreneurial individual who is looking for their first senior management role, who demonstrates the drive and ability to transition into a position at this level.
