Reed accountancy are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic and very reputable organisation based in Livingston who are looking for a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will serve as a crucial function to the business and will allow the opportunity for the individual to take on responsibilities and develop new skills. In return you will work with a company that is going places, in line with their growth they have created this new role as a result of the volume of work they are currently experiencing. To be considered for this role, you must have strong all round accounting experience, a can do attitude and have experience with the following: High volume purchase ledger processing Entering invoices and matching with delivery notes Bank and credit card account reconciliation Posting and processing payments Responsible for Credit Control Sales Ledger including preparation of monthly sales invoices and statements Multi systems experience - SAGE 50 is preferred You must also be willing to support the finance manager and the rest of the team in the continuous improvement of all functions and processes of the team, and in line with that you will be given exposure to a wide range of responsibilities in order to grow with the company.
