My client, a well regarded business services organisation is seeking a QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT to join them as an FP&A MANAGER . This is a newly created role within the organisation and it is envisioned that the right individual will drive the production of INSIGHTFUL analysis in conjunction with the soon to be implemented new ERP platform. This is an exciting role for an individual to really put their mark on the shape of the organisation Overview of the Role To provide the directors and business managers with value-adding, insightful and independent information and analysis - within a complex organisational and legal structure - on which to base commercial decision making To establish new and improved management reporting at differing entity levels as well as overseeing the required changes to systems and processes Establish KPIs to be monitored on a regular basis To leverage the new Finance ERP to establish value-added management reporting To establish a budget/target setting process, and incorporate variance analysis against budgets in the regular reporting Key Responsibilities Structure, manage and develop the Financial Reporting and Analysis function to support the requirements of an evolving business Lead the business partnering process ensuring the requirements of all stakeholders are fully delivered Provide accurate and timely routine financial reports as part of monthly, quarterly and year end processes Design, create, issue and maintain specific financial reports and analysis to support the business Lead the creation of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts at entity and consolidated levels; ensure all variances against budgets and forecasts are managed and understood Analyse the performance of entities and contracts to support the commercial team Work with the new ERP implementation team to:- (i) ensure that the new system is set up to identify the required information to allow the reporting to be generated and automated (ii) to define and establish the required reports Propose appropriate KPIs to measure and report on a regular basis - and to incorporate these into self-service dashboards and the new company-wide software platform Take ownership of the management reporting; this includes the regular finance reports presented to directors and business unit managers Take ownership of parts of the regular Board reporting and establish improvements in the type of information reported and in the underlying reporting processes. Establish a budget approval / target setting for entity operating income & running costs etc and incorporate variance analysis against budgets in the regular reporting Work with the finance manager to establish and analyse regular reporting for controls purposes such as balance sheet reviews Ideal Candidate Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial analysis role in a business with complex reporting requirements Good underlying knowledge of accounting processes and IFRS Proven analytical skills; able to identify, highlight and investigate issues in large amounts of data Strong spreadsheet skills and reporting skills using PowerPoint Experience of using a complex ERP and reporting tools to generate value adding management Ability to absorb complexity and present findings succinctly Good presentation skills and confident presenting to senior stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build good relationships with team members and other staff at various levels across the business APPLY TODAY FOR THIS GREAT ROLE Huntress Search Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of 'protected characteristics' as defined under the Equality Act and other relevant UK legislation.
