Credit Analyst Our client is a young fast growing fintech trade finance company with its worldwide headquarters in the UK and representative offices in the USA, India, HK/China, Bangledesh, Pakistan, Russia and Sweden They are looking to recruit a credit analyst to provide credit expertise and support to the business. Main responsibilities will include; Acting as a first point of contact for offices and referrers regarding the assessment of the credit worthiness of buyers Ability to assess the underlying trade transaction and ensure it meets the firm's main criteria Credit risk analysis of new large value trade transactions and renewals Preparation of documentation for submission to Underwriters Co-ordinate and complete applications for insurance limits Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including operations, overseas colleagues and third parties Supporting the Head of Credit to undertake various functions in accordance with the needs of the business Monitor utilisation against insurance limits and be proactive in managing towards 100% utilisation The successful candidate will have: Ability to interpret Corporate Financial Accounts, drawing conclusions for internal discussion and delivering insightful responses to third parties Proven Credit risk background Self-motivation with the ability to deliver in a timely manner Knowledge and experience of international trade finance Accuracy using multiple sources of information to reach the right conclusion This is an exciting role working in a small team and is an ideal opportunity for someone who has Credit Analysis experience and is looking to move to a progressive organisation. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and have a clear understanding of the various risks involved in cross-border trade. A basic salary of up to £55k PA is available.
