Based at our head office in Bristol, we are looking for someone who is looking to progress their career with a focus on corporate reporting and tax accountancy. This is a great opportunity to take a step in your career which will enable you to stretch your skills and showcase your expertise What does the role involve? The role of the Group Corporate Reporting & Tax Accountant is to support the Group Financial Controller and the Global Corporate Reporting Manager in all Group corporate reporting, IFRS technical accounting and global tax matters. This includes, assisting with statutory reports and returns as necessary, ensuring the business operates within the legal, statutory and regulatory requirement of the markets in which it operates in addition to completing technical accounting papers and assisting with global external audit and tax requirements. You will prepare reports and advise on current accounting and tax legislation to senior members of the team and produce memorandums to detail this. You will also produce accounting guidance and policies for audits and communicate report results with appropriate stakeholders. You will be the prime point of contact for group wide tax matters supporting Group Financial Controller in developing a well-managed control environment for all taxes. This will extend to all aspects of tax returns to audit requirements. What skills and experience can I bring to the role? The ideal candidate will have sound IFRS knowledge and experience working in a busy finance team with proven technical accounting ability. You will have experience of global group accounting and tax requirements and global consolidations. Experience of corporate tax and payroll is also advantageous. You will be qualified (ACCA/ACA) and now ready to specialise and focus your expertise on reporting and tax. You must be used to working quickly and accurately whilst dealing with large volumes of work in a time pressured environment. It goes without saying that your analytical and numerical skills will be second to none and you will also be a strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships quickly. You will need excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as experience of using financial accounting systems. What is it like to work at Tribal?
