Commercial Finance Business Partner Growing Financial Services Business based in Manchester City Centre Salary negotiable dependent on experience Our client is a largely successful financial services business growing at an astronomical pace. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Finance Business Partner / Finance Analyst to join our clients commercial finance division; Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner you'll draw from a broad base of experience and skill to provide a first class service to key stakeholders and functions within the group. Experience required: Professional Qualification desirable (ACCA, ACMA, MBA, etc.) Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven. Precise and clear in written and verbal communication. Experience and awareness of working to tight deadlines. Must be able to build a rapport with team members and stakeholders. Must be able to communicate effectively to a broad range of audiences up to board level. Ability to summarise and explain complex concepts. Can work under pressure and under their own initiative. Be flexible to respond quickly to new situations. IT literate with first class Excel and PowerPoint and presentational skills. Financial Services experience preferred. Ability to manage projects effectively. This is an exciting role that will suit an ambitious individual that possess strong commercial ability; adding real value to the business and driving growth, you will be responsible for duties as follows: The Commercial Analyst will support the Senior Finance Business Partner and the stakeholders in delivering the companies' ambitious growth targets and drive strategies, decisions and initiatives by assisting with the development of: Digital marketing strategies Vertical and Horizontal integrations Product offerings Pricing and risk strategies Contact centre organisation and operational efficiencies Forecasting and budgeting Competitive and market analysis Complex financial reporting standard compliant models The role holder will be expected to attend and present in stakeholder meetings and provide commercial analysis and critique. You will be able to explain complex calculations to non-financial members of staff and build relationships throughout the business. Strong IT and modelling skills are a must as you'll be responsible for providing modelling and sensitivity analysis, complete financial data analysis and lead budget processes. The role also includes ownership of the Consolidated Forecasting Model which is the strategic group forecasting and modelling tool with ongoing duties including: Updating on any ad-hoc with actuals and budgets Working with the business to assess the impact of strategic and operational initiatives Performing scenario analysis in line with business requirements Conducting functional and maintenance updates on a continuous basis A unique varied role that offers the opportunity to join my client at an interesting time - a role not to be missed Forward your CV for immediate consideration
