Payroll Assistant £DOE Jenson Fisher is currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join a well-respected Accountancy Practice, based in Perth. This is a permanent role, and, will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to work with a close payroll team and work in a friendly and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role that will see them responsible for a portfolio of clients where they will process full, end-to-end weekly & monthly payrolls. You'll also be responsible for Calculating SSP & SMP, and all other adjustments. You'll also deal with incoming payroll queries from clients, as well as, more complex payroll related queries from the team. This is a role that will suit an experienced individual that is comfortable with all aspects of payroll processing, it is also vital that you have previous experience of working in a busy payroll environment within an Accountancy Practice, Payroll Bureau or Client payroll situation. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include; Processing weekly and monthly payroll for clients in accordance with RTI compliance Calculating SSP, SMP and all other adjustments Dealing with all payroll queries for a portfolio of clients and for more complex payroll queries from the team Process all starters and leavers Submitting all year end requirements Compliance with auto enrolment guidelines Applicants will ideally have over 5 years of experience of working in a similar role in an accountancy practice Strong IT skills CIS knowledge Ability to work as part of a team and liaise directly with clients to build relationships In return you'll receive a competitive salary & package, as well as the opportunity to join an established organisation, that boasts an impressive client portfolio in a permanent position.
