Assistant Accountant - Callington - £25,000 - £30,000 A traditional British brand are looking to recruit a permanent Assistant Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get national brand experience in Cornwall and expand your CV. You will be responsible for the following: Preparing journal entries including depreciation and fixed asset register Reconcile financial statements and accounts Analyse data and reports, measuring trends in financial information Balance Sheet reconciliations Enter payroll journal Weekly cash flow forecasting Some UK based travel is required for the role Working closely with the Group Finance Manager you will assist preparing an individual business's weekly and monthly accounts pack. This will include liaising with auditors and supporting specific finance queries including VAT and tax. This is a busy and demanding role so we are looking for applicants who have proved experience in a similar role, you will be able to show you management accounting exposure and most likely have the AAT qualification to back up your skills.
