Artis - Finance & Accountancy are recruiting for a Head of External Reporting on behalf of a well-renowned organisation based in Somerset. Day to day duties: Manage the delivery of the Annual Report, Audit and Accounts for the Board and coordinate all Group Statutory reporting Oversee the monthly consolidation for distribution to internal and external stakeholders Drive compliance and maintenance of the Group accounting manual across the regions Lead the Audit Committee update papers and implementation of new financial reporting standards Lead the finance systems team to drive improved systems, processes and reporting Review and develop the control's framework ensuring control weaknesses are identified and improvements deployed Recommend improvements to accounting policies and technical standards to drive improvement Provide technical accounting expertise to the CFO, Group FD and other senior staff to ensure good understanding of reporting when making decisions Line manage one direct report Required Experience: CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Strong working knowledge of SAP Financials Ability to drive process improvement Artis Recruitment provide specialist recruitment services within HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, Customer Contact and Executive Search.
