An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced book keeper/vat assistant. You will be a crucial member of our managed services team assisting with our increasing workload. The role will predominantly consist of the following duties: Preparation of VAT return for various VAT schemes. Preparation of quarterly management information. Assist in the migration of clients to new accounting software with a particular emphasis on Xero. Advising clients on improving efficiency and the best use of cloud and associated technologies. Training clients on the use of cloud bookkeeping software and associated apps. Supporting clients and answering queries regarding accounting software. Visiting clients to demonstrate and explain the benefits of software solutions. Explaining Making Tax Digital and its impact for both current and prospective clients. Provision of training sessions with internal staff whilst assisting with any queries. Developing the use of cloud software to streamline working practices and procedures. Researching new solutions and apps. Requirements: Previous exposure to Xero is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong client relationship skills.
