We are the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures. We are seeking a self-driven and highly motivated Internal & Compliance Auditor to join our forward thinking, successful electronic manufacturing company. Organisational environment: The Internal & Compliance Auditor will be a fundamental part of our Finance team, reporting to the Company Secretary (Philip Middlemast), and working alongside the Finance Teams across all the UK Business Units, to ensure the Company achieves Internal Control and Compliance objectives set by Legrand Group. The position will be predominantly based in between our UK Head Office in Birmingham, and at our Wembley site, with occasional travels to all UK Business Units. Key

responsibilities:

• Complete the annual RVR internal control questionnaire set by Legrand Group
• To be involved in 'docking' of new entrants in the Group
• To be involved in the Business Eco-system component of CSR
• To implement recommendations made by Legrand Group Internal Audit
• To perform ad hoc and 'routine' internal audits (UK perimeter) and make recommendations
• To implement and / or to assist the departments in performing the remediation plans (Internal Control & Compliance)
• To ensure the company achieves the objectives of the Legrand Group Compliance program
• Make presentations to staff to raise awareness of the Legrand Group Compliance program
• Perform Supplier audits to ensure Responsible Purchasing standards are maintained in the Supply Chain
• Assist in various ad hoc accounting exercises Key skills and attributes:
• have experience of working in an Internal Audit department
• have experience of working in a Finance department
• have experience of working in a cross-departmental environment in order to appreciate the requirements of each department
• possess good 'working standard' IT skills (MS Office, Syspro, Saleforce)
• have the ability to deal comfortably with all levels of staff
• be an accomplished presenter
• be flexible regarding ability to travel to sites throughout UK
• Responsible, with a natural sense of ownership
• Strong and confident communicator (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking, with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills

• Full time, 37.5hours/week, Monday to Friday (08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00) with 30 mins lunch break
• Permanent (subject to 6 months' probationary period)


Salary:
between £38,000.00 to £45,000.00 depending on experience
• Annual bonus: discretionary
• 25 days holidays
