Telesales Manager - Asset Finance Southampton Up to £35,000 plus bonus and benefits Our client is the asset finance subsidiary of a niche banking group and specialises in the provision of asset finance and leading facilities for the truck, trailer, bus, coach and specialist vehicles sectors. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Telesales Manager. A committed and determined individual to work alongside a highly motivated field-based Asset Finance sales team, supporting their activity and helping embed structure into the management of the existing customer and prospect database. Must be able to work accurately under pressure in a constantly changing environment where priorities will move daily. The role will become a key element of the sales proposition and help underpin future target activity levels across the business. Tele-sales experience in a highly targeted space is a must and a financial services background, or even better an asset finance background, would be beneficial. The successful candidate's primary focus being new business development through a structured programme of tele-marketing in conjunction with field-based colleagues and central marketing support. Duties and responsibilities Promote the services of AF to existing customers, new prospects, manufacturers, dealers and brokers within the sectors that AF operates. Ensure that an appropriate calling plan is in place for existing customer and introducer base to minimize leakage. Build and maintain, (working with field-based colleagues) a prospect database that supports the wider ambition of the AF business. Negotiate commercially acceptable transactions with customer key decision makers. Obtain financial and non-financial information to personally complete or support wider internal sales colleagues' completion of credit applications for sanctioning within the credit process. Manage personal and Tele-Sales Administrator's activity and pipeline to ensure team targets are achieved. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of activity and results takes place using CRM and other systems as required and advised from time to time. Work with the Sales Directors, Regional Sales Directors and central Marketing function to build and support external marketing campaigns, e shots etc. Contribute to the Regional and wider business development strategy through positive interaction with other members of the AF team Represent AF at trade exhibitions, events and functions as may be required from time to time.
