Based out of their Gloucester offices, you will work closely with the Finance Director providing guidance and support to the finance team and taking responsibility for the delivery of timely and accurate financial management information to ensure the robust financial hygiene of the 'Group'. You will be entrusted to autonomously facilitate the development of value adding financial and operating reporting as well as taking charge of all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, with an emphasis on budget and forecasts preparation and financial risk management. In this senior finance role, suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the delivery of monthly and annual financial reports, cash flow forecasting, and have an analytical approach together with: A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA,CIMA,ACA) or finalist level Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Excellent accounting software user and administration skills Time management skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, Report writing and analytical skills Professional, enthusiastic and pro-active attitude This role would suit an individual seeking that next step up the career ladder from Financial/Management Accountant or Finance Manager.
