We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join this well established business who are located within a short walk of Rugby train station. They are looking for someone to join them on a contractual basis for approximately 9-12 months, after this period, there may be the possibility to work with the company on a permanent basis. They provide their clients with a wide range of bookkeeping services on a weekly/monthly and quarterly basis. Duties: Taking clients documents and posting to the accounting system Manage the clients bookkeeping services accurately and efficiently Posting and balancing bank accounts Dealing with payroll journals Posting depreciation journals Preparing and filing of VAT returns Preparing management accounts Experience Required: Strong attention to detail skills Competent with Microsoft packages including word and excel Knowledge of VAT System knowledge of Sage, Xero (preferable but not essential) Good communication skills as there will be ongoing client contact This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a friendly and supportive team.
