Your new company is a government organisation within the public sector providing a key service throughout the Thames Valley area.
Your new role
Your new role as a payroll adviser will be be to provide payroll for around 1,500 members of staff. Operating in a team of three you will be responsible for the entire payroll process as well as maintaining accurate records to assist with monthly invoicing, reconciliations and both internal and external audits. You will also be required to respond to customer's queries and issues within agreed HR timelines.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong experience in a payroll capacity with excellent PAYE knowledge covering all aspects of payroll processing which includes End of Year (EOY), Real Time Information (RTI) & Auto Enrolment. Excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic and conscientiousness are all essential traits to be successful in this role.
What you'll get in return
You will get a highly competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000 a year. Other benefits include a very good pension scheme and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
