Permanent Assistant Accountant + Study Support based in Perthshire. Salary £23,000 - £28,000 DOE

Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client for a permanent Assistant Accountant based in Perthshire due to an exciting period of growth. Salary is £23,000 - £28,000 depending on experience + study support for professional qualification. Free parking, 31 days annual leave and the potential for annual discretionary bonus are also included with this excellent opportunity.

Your new role

You will provide support for the Financial Controller and assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts. This is a new role within the business due to company growth that will allow the opportunity for career progression. You will complete VAT returns for multiple entities, bank reconciliations in multiple currencies and various reports. You will have a strong business partnering approach with various stakeholders and departments within the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Finance professional who is either Part Qualified or looking to begin professional qualification. You will have experience in completing VAT returns, bank reconciliations and assisting with monthly management accounts. You will ideally have experience working with multiple currencies. You will have strong communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines. You will be looking to progress your career within finance and attain professional qualification to become a qualified accountant.
