SF Recruitment is currently looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join a growing SME based in central Derby. This Independent IT service provider, specialists in installation, support and disposal of distributed IT systems. This role will give you a significant amount of exposure to the senior stakeholders in the business and will provide valuable input into the commercial and operational decision-making strategy. Within this varied role you will undertake management of a transactional team whilst driving process improvement. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee the accurate and timely production of management accounts on a monthly basis with narrative and analysis. Development of management information and KPI reporting to allow measured decision making by senior stakeholders. Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes to provide insight on key variances whilst also identifying key risks and opportunities. Review existing processes and systems to identify and implement changes to deliver greater efficiency and a slicker operation. Provide leadership to transactional finance team and deputising for the Finance Director when necessary Support the Finance Director with projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who has an appetite to progress their career within a fast paced business. You will need to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience required for the role: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualified experience within a corporate accounting/reporting function. Experience of managing a team. Solid knowledge of transnational finance and proven ability to drive efficiency through process improvement. Strong IT systems skills. A high level of energy and enthusiasm, and a "can do" attitude. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to work closely and communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
