Financial /Management Accounts Assistant c£20-30k and benefits. Ashby De La Zouch - Leicestershire Our client is a fast growing SME business operating within the financial services sector. They have significant plans to enhance their reputation even further and as such are looking to recruit an experienced Financial/Management Accounts Assistant. Critical to their future success is the implementation of a number of new technology-driven programmes and they seek an exceptional person to help manage these. THE ROLE The Financial Assistant is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Financial Controller. The main duties are focusing on the production of management and statutory accounts for Group entities and providing additional explanatory analysis as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the timely and accurate preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
• Processing journals and undertaking balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Providing control and adherence to the purchase and sales invoice process.
• Provide support for Internal and External Audit.
• Preparing divisional VAT submissions for entities within the Group for review.
• Providing analysis and understanding of the key trends, risks and opportunities within the Group.
• Providing assistance and working alongside the Operational teams
• Ability to identify and improve processes, improving control and efficiencies. This firm seeks to recruit talented people and this role can offer you an opportunity to develop your skills further. Ideally you will be recently qualified or completing a professional accountancy related qualifications and have c2 years' experience, working in a similar role.
