THE ROLE The Financial Assistant is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Financial Controller. The main duties are focusing on the production of management and statutory accounts for Group entities and providing additional explanatory analysis as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the timely and accurate preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
• Processing journals and undertaking balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Providing control and adherence to the purchase and sales invoice process.
• Provide support for Internal and External Audit.
• Preparing divisional VAT submissions for entities within the Group for review.
• Providing analysis and understanding of the key trends, risks and opportunities within the Group.
• Providing assistance and working alongside the Operational teams
• Ability to identify and improve processes, improving control and efficiencies. This firm seeks to recruit talented people and this role can offer you an opportunity to develop your skills further.
