Our client based in Wakefield is a PLC operation who supply into a range of sectors, including some very high profile brands internationally. Due to imminent changes for their Finance team they are seeking the support of a Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Group Reporting Accountant to join them for a 6 month contract, this can be on either a fixed term salaried basis or on a day rate. The role will work closely with the Senior Management team and take responsibility for: Monthly group management accounts and consolidations. Budgets & forecasting. Adhoc analysis & variance reporting. Preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts. Assisting with group tax, VAT and dealing with HMRC. Monthly payroll. Other adhoc duties as required. To succeed in this role you will demonstrate experience of delivering in a similar role, of being able to work to strict deadlines. You will also demonstrate a positive approach, strong commercial awareness as well as very good systems skills, particularly with Excel. Strong communication skills are also highly desirable.
