The Opportunity An incredible opportunity has arisen for a driven Group Accountant to join a Private Equity-backed Software (SaaS) company. This is a client with whom we have a long-standing relationship, and who we know to invest in the development of their employees. You will be working with an outstanding and hard-working FD who has grown with the business through its remarkable growth, trebling in turnover in the last few years. The company has now merged and is looking at more acquisitions, so they need a data-driven addition to their team, ideally from a practice background. You will be strong on consolidations, multi-currency accounting, and know a balance sheet inside-out. Whilst the client is looking to take on an interim, they are ideally looking to speak to candidates who are open to a transition into permanency. The Role: Consolidation of Financials - responsible for the consolidation of the financial statements of the whole group and commenting on any significant variances. Month End Process - reviewing and supervising the month end results for the group, analysing any significant variance and understand variance against budget and forecast. Forecasting - Preparing the monthly YE forecasts for the Group, making sure the regional General Managers and Sales Managers are aligned to this. Consolidating the group's forecast explaining variances and identifying areas of potential upside/risk. Group Board Pack - consolidating the group's board pack making sure all the regions are aligned on how to understand and present the data. Reviewing KPI's with regional GMs and understanding any movements during the months, budget, forecast and prior year. Audit - supporting the head of finance with the yearly audit . Assisting with related special projects and other duties as needed. The Requirements: ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Experience working with multiple currencies Strong consolidation background Strong understanding of evaluation and translation Strong Excel skills Experience with the software sector/SaaS/recurring revenue Exposure to Private Equity-backed/very high-growth businesses (advantage) As the client is looking to interview and hire as soon as possible, I can only consider candidates with up to 1 week's notice for this position.
