New role just in Fast-growing digital agency If you've worked in a creative, fast-paced environment such as retail ecommerce, media, marketing services or digital then this could be a great next step for you This role sits within the Finance team and reports into the Financial Controller and will manage one direct report. As well as day-to-day management accounting responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to drive efficiency and process improvement. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts; Accruals and prepayments; Partnering with professional services business to ensure project accounting is correct and that project revenue recognition is fairly stated in accordance with accounting standards; Oversight of sales ledger, purchase ledger and cash activities; Ensuring accurate revenue recognition; Calculation of monthly sales invoices based on platform transaction data; Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet items and proactive follow-up of unexpected items to ensure balance sheet is risk-free; Preparation of management accounts including analysis against budget / forecast Intercompany reconciliation Ideal profile: Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) plus relevant post-qualified experience in management accounting role Outgoing personality, desire to work in a dynamic agency environment Passion for process improvement Supervisory or management experience
