£35-40,000 great benefits and career opportunities Our Client is seeking an exceptional Finance Business Partner to join their highly influential Finance team in Northamptonshire. The role: The purpose of the role consists of driving financial control and business partnering to relevant senior stakeholders including Programme Managers, Technical Leaders and Manufacturing Leaders Preparing and presenting budgets, forecasts and analysis for manufacturing programmes Providing financial insight and transparency to relevant stakeholders (inc. materials, P&B, overheads and consultancy), Build relationships and establish channels of communication in order to obtain meaningful assumptions on which to base budgets and forecasts, as well as the financial impact of proposed changes and project led decisions Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Manufacturing programmes such that assumptions and forecasts can be critically appraised and challenged. Provide transparency of the financial outlook on a weekly basis and to tight reporting timelines Support stakeholders in identifying countermeasures to address issues which pose a risk or opportunity to the programme budgets. Challenge the status quo and look to continually improve Finance methods and processes. Support business partners with a view to evolving and improving business processes with a particular focus on cost accuracy, increasing financial transparency and improving the efficiency of management reporting. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis of programme spending to senior stakeholders as and when required. The person: Degree educated - mathematics, economic or business based subject ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ICAS qualified (1st time passes) 1 to 3 years PQE Top 10 accountancy firm trained (Big 4 desirable) or blue-chip industry equivalent Previous FP&A experience or experience of performing financial analysis on a manufacturing client whilst in practice. SAP and in particular the Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing and Project Systems modules from a finance perspective. Business process improvement and driving through change Extracting data, data cleansing and data analysis Report writing to non-financial stakeholders Experience of influencing and challenging senior stakeholders Can demonstrate pro-activeness, go getter, experience of process improvements and dealing with senior stakeholders Solution driven and focused Not afraid to collaborate with or challenge senior stakeholders Adaptable to respond to ad-hoc requests for financial information in a quick and effective manner In return you'll get the chance to be part of a team with some of the best in the world, at a state of the art facility, with a very real chance to make history.
