This is an exciting permanent role in north Bristol for an Assistant Accountant to join a well known business.

Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for;

• Manage the Bristol & Cardiff office and Infrastructure group forecasts & other financial information
• Maintain office fee pipelines by ensuring fees are reported correctly
• Maintain project fee drawdowns
• Closely monitor and review variances between forecast, month end and draft accounts
• Attend & prepare information for monthly Partner finance meeting's
• Prepare Finance Board Reports & information packs monthly
• Prepare information and attend monthly Finance 1:1 meeting with Project and Team Leaders.
• Prepare reports for Team Leaders & Partners and as requested
• Monitor, forecast and reduce expenditure where possible
• Manage interoffice charges for groups
• Manage international billing
• Assist credit control with cash allocation and chasing on complex projects
• Manage junior Fee administrator staff
• Maintain & reconcile of office petty cash

Profile

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an Assistant Accountant and will ideally be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification

Job Offer

A salary of up to £28,000 is on offer to the successful candidate as well as an excellent opportunity to progress
