Client Details

My client is a well known established company working in the Logistics industry, looking for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join there expanding Accountancy team based in Crawley.

Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a key figure in the day-to-day running of the Accountancy department. The key responsibilities will be:

  • Checking purchase invoices and credit notes to purchase orders, and entering accordingly to computer system
  • Dealing appropriately with invoice queries, liaising with Purchasing and Goods Inwards departments to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Preparation of monthly payment runs via Bank electronic payment systems. Raising small quantity of overseas cheque payments.
  • Inputting BACS request.
  • Meticulous and regular filing of all relevant paperwork.

Profile

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel within the Crawley area and have relevant experience with the above.

Job Offer

Salary £20,000-£24,000.

Depending on Experience.
