Working in a small, helpful and busy finance team you will be reporting directly into the credit manager where you will be efficient in chasing outstanding invoices and dealing with complex queries. Description

The role of the credit controller will include but not limited to:

• Assist the team leader to ensure that cash is collected within the agreed terms
• Be proactive in chasing payment so via telephone and email
• Regular communication with customer to ensure invoices are clear for payment
• Resolving account and invoices queries
• Reconciliation
• Updating cash flow forecasts
• Building internal and external relationships

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Previous experience of working within a busy and credit control function - Essential
• Ability to build long lasting business relationships - Essential
• Experience of reconciling complex accounts - Essential
• Strong IT & Excel skills including Vlookups and Pivot tables - Essential
• Confident, calm and proactive attitude - Essential
• Strong team player but can also work on autonomously - Essential
• high level of customer service - Essential

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate is a salary between £19-23,000 + 25 days holiday + Car parking + Career Progression + Company Pension + Flexi Time
