This is a fantastic place for the right candidate to spread their wings in a large company and gain fantastic experience in a large finance department, this is a varied role where you will do the standard management accountant duties with some higher level business partnering and analytical reporting.

Description

This Management Accountant role will initially have responsibility for the following duties while studying a relevant accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA)

*Build strong relationships with key contacts in the business to aid finance business partnering.

*Support external meetings/negotiations and provide financial analysis to support contract negotiations.

*Ensure revenue reconciliations are maintained on a monthly basis and risks to P&L and cash flow are highlighted early.

*Apply a proactive approach to identify, highlight, investigate and resolve issues.

*Support the achievement of corporate budget, cash management & balance sheet management *Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful analysis and commentary.

*Take lead of preparation of rolling monthly forecasts in conjunction with Heads of Finance.

*Take ownership of driving innovation& efficiency's to reduce monthly turnaround times.

*Input into service line remodelling & costing

*Work with operational teams, the Senior Management Accountant and Heads of Finance to prepare annual budgets and quarterly re forecasts.

*Preparation of year end packs.

*Preparation of month end packs.

Profile

This role will require;

*Active studies preferably to Final levels CIMA / ACCA but any considered.

*Graduate in finance (Desirable).

*Advanced excel experience.

*Advanced SAP usage / In depth knowledge.

*Excellent work attitude.

*Confident with a full management accounting process.
