Accounts Assistant - £28,000 - £30,000 - Food & Beverage Business - Bond Street

This role is working within a growing start-up Food & Beverage business temporarily based in Bond Street, but soon to be moving to newly refurbished offices near Oxford Street station.

Your new role
Your new position will be an Accounts Assistant working within a team of 4 in finance. This is a new position within the team due to the growth within the business and the role will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller. The role is looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience within finance and candidates with experience working within hospitality or retail will be seen highly. Candidates who apply for this role must be immediately available or on short-notice - candidates on a long notice will not be considered.

What you'll need to succeed
This role is working within a growing food & beverage company based near Bond Street and candidates who apply must be on short notice. Key duties include:

• High volume processing of invoices
• Supplier statements and queries
• Raising of sales ledger invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Balancing the nominal ledger
• Good knowledge of debits and credits
• Posting of payroll journals
• Strong Excel (VLookups and Pivot Tables)
• Systems used: Sage 50 (beneficial) - alternatively experience with Xero or Quickbooks is desirable
