Job Details

The Finance Manager will assist in all operational aspects of the finance function, including team management, implementing financial controls and procedures and leading on the group accounts across 3 European subsidiaries.

Description

The Finance Manager will be an exciting an varied role, that will require a proactive and adaptable person. Key duties of the role will include;

  • Managing & mentoring and driving the performance of the finance team
  • Leading on improvements to financial controls and procedures
  • Preparation of Quarterly Board reports including analysis & commentary on the financial performance to the Board of Directors
  • Oversee statutory accounts
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Managing trade in foreign currency between the group's subsidiaries
  • Aiding with the implementation of new ERP system
  • Ad-hoc finance led projects
  • First point of contact for External Auditors during annual audit
  • Development and implementation of new costing models to improve profitability

Profile

The minimum requirements for the successful; candidates will be;

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably with manufacturing experience
  • Team management experience - including coaching and mentoring
  • Confident communicator, with ability to business partner with non-finance directors
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Organsised with the ability to delegate effectivly
  • Experience on leading with process improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willing to embrace change
  • Experience with SAP business one would be a benefit to the role
