Our client one of the largest independent firms in the South East employing 100 people are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join the team in the Godalming, Surrey office

Description

As a Payroll Administrator based from the Godalming, Surrey office you will be responsible for

*To deliver an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service

*To be able to process a payroll from start to finish

*To understand each client's requirements and expectations

*Ensure that payrolls are compliant with current PAYE legislation

*Process and maintain client payrolls

*Manage and resolve payroll queries

*Follow internal policies and procedures

*Liaise with partners, managers and clients

*To work with and support team members

*Assist in administration procedures including filing and paperwork

*To liaise with managers, partners and our clients regarding payroll matters

Profile

*Experience of payroll processing essential

*Sound knowledge of UK PAYE legislation is required.

*Knowledge of Star Payroll system desirable but not essential

*An understanding of Auto Enrolment desirable

*Basic knowledge of Excel essential.

Job Offer

Salary £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, strong benefits package, Free Parking and also close to the train station
