A leading retail business, famous for its cosmetics range is currently looking for a Credit Control Supervisor to join the team of 7 in their luxury head office within the West End of London.

Your new role
This is a newly created role which is responsible for the credit control function, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered too. This Credit Control Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing the collection of over £150 million per year and leading a team of 5 credit controllers to success.

Main Duties involve:

• Responsible for complex accounts, so that company meets DSO targets.
• Ensure customers are contacted to resolve outstanding payment, credit or debit claims and that these are processed in a timely manner and within authorised sanction limits.
• Review (and produce for own accounts) regular account reconciliations to monitor and identify any deviations from customers agreed Credit Terms and ensure prompt resolution of all debit & credit claims.
• Meet (as required) with customers to resolve disputes, facilitate collections and build working relationship. Responsible for the reconciliation of the Sales ledger with the General ledger.
• Prepare and distribute the monthly Credit Control reporting: DSO, debit note report and query management reports.
• Ad hoc reports for audit, financial investigations, etc., as required.
• Monitor Credit Insurance limits maintained in accordance with the Group Credit to policy.
• Attend credit reference agency industry meetings (as required) to gather information for risk assessment. Process new account applications and assess credit risk to set credit limits and maintain the Customer Master file.
• Manage and develop 5 Credit Controllers.
• Support Head of Credit with brand representation.
• Deputise for the Head of Credit Control in his/her absence.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this opportunity it is essential that you have studied or are currently studying CICM and you have experience supervising a team of credit controllers. A minimum of 4 years experience is required for this position. Retail experience is desired but not essential. You must be dedicated, driven and have a professional yet friendly approach when it comes to managing.
