I am exclusively working with an established Shropshire based business who have a permanent job vacancy for a Finance Director. We are looking for a technically strong finance professional - ACA/ACCA/CIMA, who has experience/ambition to lead a function as number 1 in finance.

Your new role
Reporting the Managing Director and advising the leadership and management team your role will include preparation of annual accounts and tax computations as well as development and delivery of financial information and development and improvement of financial systems. You will be responsible for budget and forecasting, analysis and cash-flow management as well as ad-hoc projects to support growth such as acquisition. As Finance Director you will also ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a track record working as a Finance Manager/Controller/Director. You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be a great communicator with the ability to influence. You will be responsible for managing a small finance team so previous leadership and people management experience is also required. Previous sector experience within Professional Services would be preferable but not essential.
