Job Details
My client are seeking an individual with a breadth of skills across technical and commercial finance. This is a Management level role reporting to the Financial Controller and with a dotted line to senior stakeholders across various departments in the business.

Our client are a leading Financial Services business based in Bradford.
Description
1. Financial Management of a Business Unit
The role will lead all aspects of financial and management accounting for the business unit, including:
- Month end accounting
- Management Accounts preparation
- Short and longer term forecasting (5 Year)
- Finance Business Partner for the business
2. Financial Accounting and Control
To jointly lead the financial reporting, accounting and regulatory capital aspects for all 10 business units. To control financial accounting postings for month end (e.g. Payroll, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany postings). To liaise with externals auditors and the wider Group.

Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong Financial Accounting and Reporting skills
- Confident in financial modelling, analytics and Excel
- Ability to instil confidence in and influence senior management
- Innovative and willing to take initiative
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Ability to prioritise and work well under deadline pressure
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Able to work in a team environment
