Job Details

This is an all-encompassing finance role and will require you to have experience within an SME environment. The role promotes itself as an opportunity to join a business that has extensive development plans over the next 12 months.

Client Details

The business is based in Warwickshire and are responsible for the development, manufacturing and sale of formulated adhesives and coatings. They have gone through a significant amount of revenue growth and require a Finance Manager to join their team at a new and exceptional working facility.

Their clientele ranges from multi-national corporates down to SME's nationwide. The business has an outlook to further their emphasis on export sales.

Description

Take overall control of the company's day to day accounting, including processing supplier payments.

Produce and interpret monthly management accounts, analysis of stock, work in progress and other financial information as and when required.

Complete monthly accounts procedures e.g. month end accruals and prepayments, posting journals, bank reconciliations, performing month end tasks.

Cover all financial aspects for 2 other group companies which have minimal transactions but include posting invoices, bank reconciliations, statutory reporting, annual accounts filing and quarterly management accounts.

Prepare year-end audits and work closely with external auditors during this procedure.

Profile

Due to the stand-alone nature of this role, you will be required to be self-motivated and prepared to be thoroughly involved with the business.

Experience within an SME environment.

Manufacturing experience is preferred although not essential.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
